REAL IMPACT THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE
The Empower Bolga project was born out of our many years of experience in Africa and our personal collaboration with the community in Bolgatanga. This isn’t anonymous aid—we know the specific people we work with.
Thanks to your support:
- weavers are paid fairly, above the local standard
- we fund the education of the weavers’ children and their healthcare
- projects are created for the entire community (e.g., sanitation facilities, health screenings, or eye surgeries)
The founder of the Empower Bolga Endowment Fund is Dr. Jiří Blažek, who has been working with the community in Bolgatanga for many years and is responsible for the design and direction of individual projects.
Their implementation on the ground in Ghana is handled by a local team, which ensures that the aid meets the community’s actual needs.
